Maria Lawson is an English singer born on May 24, 1975. Maria placed 8th in the 2nd series of The X Factor in 2005. She sings in the genres of R&B, soul, and rock.

Leona Louise Lewis was born on April 3, 1985 in London, and is a British pop/R&B singer and songwriter. Leona Lewis rose to fame after winning the reality show The X Factor plus the fact that she was the first female to win the competition back in 2006.

Mis-Teeq were a British R&B group. Originally a quartet, the group eventually became a trio, whose members were Alesha Dixon, Su-Elise Nash and Sabrina Washington. They had two studio albums and nine singles together. In January 2005 they officially announced their split, so that they could pursue solo careers in music.

Helen Folasade Adu, (born 16 January 1959), better known as Sade (pronounced “shah-day,”), is a Nigerian/British singer-songwriter, composer, and record producer. She has achieved success in the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s as the frontwoman and lead vocalist of the popular Grammy Award winning English group Sade.
