Louchie Lou & Michie One – Shout (It Out)
Monday, January 5th, 2009Louchie Lou & Michie One (Louise Gold and Michelle Charles) were a female reggae-pop friendly duo from London, who formed in the early ’90s during the rise of radio friendly reggae in Britain. They made their musical debut as featured vocalists on Suggs’ 1993 hit Cecilia, and had a UK #7 hit in the same year with the song Shout (It Out). Enjoy the video of Shout below.
The Police – Roxanne
Monday, December 8th, 2008The Police were a three-piece rock band consisting of Sting (vocals, bass guitar), Andy Summers (guitar, vocals) and Stewart Copeland (drums, percussion, vocals). The band became globally popular in the early 1980s, playing a style of rock that was influenced by jazz, punk and reggae music. The band broke up in 1984, but reunited in early 2007 for a one-off world tour lasting until August 2008, in celebration of the 30th anniversary of their hit single Roxanne and also, to a lesser extent, that of their formation as a group.
